Here is a link to the video if it doesn't show up above: http://animoto.com/play/LWU7Fp9iwKQl90AaelNzcQ

This video is about the Rwanda genocide and a it's a short clip. It also speaks of my answer to the driving question.

How important is race?

Race is very important around the world. There are different cultures of races all over the world and in every country. Theres so many different kinds of races in every country. Every ones race is based on where their from. You get your race from family that passes down their race to you when your born. Without race what would we be? we wouldent even have a any color in our skin? We wouldent know who we are or who anyone else is. I think thats the main reasong race is Important. Without it we woulden't be anything or anyone.

Every single person in this world have a race. Like me, i'm and Native American. I have gained my Native American from my mom, and my white European from Germany in me, from my dad. People say say that race and peoples skin color is darker when their born closer to the equater. I dont belive that one bit. People are born like the skin color of their parents because it's a trait passed down from the childrens parents. none of us really know why people were born with the skin color they were born with, and we will never be exactly sure why. but i dont think its because people were born closer to the equater so that makes them have darker skin. I dont think thats why but i can't also say I have a reason to why people are different skin colors. But if i had to say something i would say that it's because of our cultures and where our family comes from.

In Rwanda So many people died just because of race and how powerful people think thety are. So powerful they think they just can kill people and no one will do anything to stop him/her.
people arent really that powerful. They ju say they are and if people belive it they start following behind that person and eventually war came. Eventhough it was not really war it was more like genocide and thats what it pretty much was.
